We also provided new hoist control for the electric chain hoists that were re-purposed from the drama studio so that the school’s main acting space has lighting bars accessible to all.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Another technology upgrade in the theatre saw us provide a mixture of Martin Quantum and Aura moving lights to increase the versatility of the schools lighting system as well as servicing their existing Vari-Lites to ensure they continue to provide years of service.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The schools main hall however had arguably the largest improvement. <\/span>A versatile space used for everything from assemblies to piano recitals that had been temporarily used as a library and needed a refresh. <\/span>New houselights from GDS (the third space at Latymer to have them installed), <\/span>Stage lighting from ETC (Coloursource LED units), highlights to the roof and pinspots (remotely focus-able units from RC lighting) created a variety that will ensure that the main hall is fit for whatever is thrown at it. <\/span>The use of LED technology throughout (including dimmable lamps in the existing chandeliers) means that reliability is foremost in this busy room where downtime is minimal.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Project Manager Tim Lynn from Showsound [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_tab][vc_tab icon_pack=”font_awesome” fa_icon=”” title=”CASE STUDY 3″ tab_id=”1584539520044-3-3″][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” use_row_as_full_screen_section_slide=”no” text_align=”left” padding_top=”22″ css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”34″ down=”0″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” use_row_as_full_screen_section_slide=”no” text_align=”left” padding_top=”22″ css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n For the last few years we have supported the Willington School on two events per anum.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Coming mid term we provide them with the hire and installation of a compact but high quality lighting and sound system which they use for their school show. <\/span>This year the lighting system was based around Selecon Acclaim fresnels and ETC Source Four profiles, with effects provided using one of our Martin Atomic Strobes.\u00a0<\/span>Audio has been D&B, with Yamaha Control and Sennheiser Radios microphones since we began our involvement with the school and this year we provided the school with one of our QL1’s instead of the LS9 as used in previous years.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The second event we are involved with is the schools prize day, taking place in Wimbledon theatre at the end of the summer term.\u00a0<\/span>For this event we supply an engineer and audio control package to supplement the PA owned by the theatre.\u00a0<\/span>The most challenging element of the prize day is the short timescale of the event with the show being delivered, installed, rehearsed, performed and loaded out all within less than 12 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”50870″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”right” style=”vc_box_shadow_3d” eltd_css_animation=””][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_tab][\/vc_tabs][vc_empty_space height=”50px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” text_align=”center” video=”” padding_top=”20″ css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no” oblique_section=”no” oblique_section_top_and_bottom=”both” oblique_section_position=”from_left_to_right” triangle_shape=”no” triangle_shape_position=”both”][vc_column][vc_column_text] Education [\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” up=”27″ down=”0″][vc_column_text]Almost since we started, Radiance Production has been involved working alongside schools and further education institutions helping to produce shows that exceed expectations. Latymer Upper School Installations<\/h4>\n
\n<\/strong><\/u><\/u>\u2018Showsound Limited has worked on several projects with Radiance Production, including permanent installations and design, most recently (but not only) at Latymer Upper School in West London. <\/em>
